For the first time since joining the Celtics seven games ago, Greg Monroe was a healthy scratch last night.
Brad Stevens said after the Celtics’ 109-98 win against Memphis he made the decision for a variety of reasons. Daniel Theis continued his hot streak, and different games bring chances for different players.
That’s fine with Monroe, who said he’s still trying to find the best way to fit in.
“I’m trying to incorporate myself with stuff they’re already doing, and I know that Brad is trying to work me in also,” Monroe said.
