MANCHESTER, N.H. – It was the last night of exhibition season and those were the Sixers, a team that seems perpetually committed to high lottery qualification.
So there wasn’t necessarily a high standard in the Celtics’ 81-65 win over Philadelphia last night.
But for R.J. Hunter, there was an education in watching how the Celtics closed out so well against the team they open the regular season against Wednesday at the Garden.
“I haven’t done it since my high school all-star team,” he said of spectating. “It’s kind of cool to watch. You sit on the side and watch these guys play hard and well on the last game of preseason in Manchester, N.
