MILWAUKEE — Considering few picked them to break the 30-win barrier this season, the 40-42 Celtics exceeded all kinds of numerical comparisons with last night’s 105-100 win against the Bucks in the regular-season finale.
It was their seventh straight road win and boosted their record on the second night of their past 12 back-to-backs to 11-1. They also closed out the regular season with a season-high six-game winning streak. According to stat guru Dick Lipe, it’s the longest such streak since the 1991-92 Celtics won the last eight games of the regular season.
