Per the NBA's transaction wire, the Celtics have added a pair of bodies to bring their training-camp roster up to the league maximum of 20--Jalen Jones from Texas A&M, and Damion Lee out of Louisville:
Damion Lee was signed to a two year contract, likely with a partial guarantee. He is a undrafted wing from Louisville. Played with MIA in SL
Jalen Jones is also a wing who went undrafted from Texas A&M. He got a 1 year deal. Likely a small guarantee to get him to Maine after camp. — Keith Smith (@KeithSmithNBA) September 14, 2016
The pair join Marcus Georges-Hunt on the short list of "practice squad" type guys with no real chance to make the team.
