BOSTON - The Boston Celtics began their four-game homestand on Wednesday night with a 115-102 win against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Both teams were plagued by injuries, specifically in their respective backcourts. Boston was without point guard Kyrie Irving due to a scratched right eye, while Minnesota was missing both Derrick Rose and Jeff Teague with ankle injuries. Terry Rozier would get the start in place of Irving, and looked as comfortable as he has in a long time.
Rozier opened the game 5/5 from the floor with 11 points in his first 9 minutes.
