Celtics deal Gerald Wallace to Warriors for David Lee

The Celtics are set to acquire some veteran help on the glass and in the scoring department.

The team has agreed to acquire David Lee from the Golden State Warriors for Gerald Wallace and another player, the Herald has confirmed. The Celtics are likely to send Chris Babb or possibly Phil Pressey to complete the swap.

Lee, 32, is a 6-foot-9, 250-pound versatile forward who can play down low or outside. He's averaged 14.7 points and 9.5 rebournds over his 10-year career.

Last season, Lee played the least number of games in his career — 49 — thanks to hamstring and back injuries, and averaged just 7.
