Cleveland has been throwing some pretty good defenders at Isaiah Thomas, but some creative adjustments have given Thomas the edge so far.
Isaiah Thomas has been a bright spot in the midst of a 2-0 series deficit to the Cavaliers. He's posted identical scoring outbursts of 22 points in each game. The Celtics are scoring 116 points per 100 possessions with him on the court and just 80 without him. Obviously it's a small sample, but that disparity is incredible. Without him, Boston doesn't have much of a chance to win a game, let alone compete in this series.
