Brad Stevens gave his Boston Celtics a challenge as they embarked on their 15th game of the season Wednesday night.
He asked for them to connect.
The C’s had lacked on-court connection during their recent two-game road trip, and it resulted in two frustrating losses.
They were tested again Wednesday night against a winless Philadelphia squad. A loss to the 76ers may have been detrimental, but the Celtics ultimately found that sense of connectivity when it mattered most, and it resulted in an 84-80 win at TD Garden.
