The Boston Celtics held a groundbreaking ceremony Monday at the site of their new practice facility, which will be called The Auerbach Center at New Balance World Headquarters.
In one of the renderings of the 70,000-square foot facility that showcases two full-length practice courts, a 2017 championship banner can be seen hanging alongside Boston's other 17 title banners.

The new facility, which is being built in the Allston-Brighton neighborhood of Boston, has a target completion in the spring of 2018.
