MIAMI — The Celtics have been a maddening mess of multiple personalities through the first month of the season — sometimes from game to game and, as was the case Monday night, within the same 48 minutes.
Here against the Heat, their better selves won out. Avery Bradley went for 25 points and some big defense as the Celts held on to secure a 105-95 victory and spoil the legends concert put on by Dwyane Wade (30 points) and Chris Bosh (21).
The Celts suffered their share of lapses, but they went for a big number on the NBA's second-rated defense.
