In Kobe Bryant's last game against his long-time rivals, the Boston Celtics withstood a "Vintage Kobe" performance on their way to a 107-100 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night. Despite being up by as many as 17 points in the first half, the C's were never really able to pull away from the Lakers. The win clinched a playoff berth for the C's and pulled them even with the Atlanta Hawks for the third playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Isaiah Thomas led the way again with 26 points and six assists.
