Celtics agree to two-way deal with guard P.J. Dozier

Free agent guard P.J. Dozier has agreed to sign a two-way contract with the Celtics, a league source confirmed. As of Friday afternoon, the deal had not been officially signed yet, but sources said it appeared to be imminent.

Dozier, a 6-foot-6-inch former University of South Carolina standout, had a two-way deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder last season. He played a total of three minutes over two games with the Thunder and spent much of the year with the team’s G-League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue, where he averaged 12.9 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.

As a two-way contract player, Dozier will be able to spend up to 45 days with the Celtics next season.
