UPFRONT CONFESSION - I'm not a fan of an offense relying on a heavy dose of 3 point shots. Rather, I am a fan of old fashioned 3-point plays (the And One!) down in the paint, drawing fouls on the opponent during a layup.
With this being said, I am fully aware that the NBA is in love with the 3-ball, and that the old "pound it down in the paint" is long gone. My old-school style of play left the building along with Elvis at least a decade ago. Neither Elvis, nor this style of post-up play, is going to be resurrected for a comeback tour in the near or distant future.
