Die-hard Cleveland Cavaliers fan Kory Siverd’s vanity Ohio license plate has become the social media equivalent of salt to a Golden State Warriors fan’s wound. But Siverd said his license plate -- representing the Cavs’ stunning 3-1 NBA Finals comeback last year -- is mostly to remember sports history being made in Cleveland.
Siverd’s license plate reads “LLWLWWW” to punctuate the Cavs’ title. It gets recognized in public, but it’s been “even more popular” and “exploding” over Twitter, he said.
“I don’t want to forget it, and I don’t think anybody else should either,” Siverd told the Cleveland Plain Dealer of the Cavs becoming the first team to come back from a 3-1 deficit.
