WALTHAM – It’s quite apparent by now that the Boston Celtics’ greatest strength is their depth.
Now the question is, how will they use that depth to their advantage as they trek through the 2015-16 season?
Following Monday’s practice, Brad Stevens explained one benefit the depth provides is flexibility: He is able to give players occasional nights off without necessarily disrupting the overall flow of the team.
It’s a unique collective versatility to have, but Stevens also noted that there is no particular resting strategy set in stone; instead, players’ availability will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.
