The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski has reported the NBA and National Basketball Player's Association (NBPA) have tentatively reached an agreement on a new Collective Bargaining agreement (CBA).
The agreement, which Wojnarowski reports is only awaiting the formal ratification process, should be finalized later this evening, with a joint announcement from the NBA and NBPA forthcoming after ratification. The new CBA, which reportedly hit an eleventh-hour snag just a few days ago, will prevent a lock-out similar to that which occurred during the shortened 2011 season.
