It’s been a nervous few hours for Celtics fans. It started with a tweet from Dave Dameshek and other local speculation on social media that Brad Stevens was privately negotiating with Indiana University to be their next men’s basketball head coach. Archie Miller was dismissed earlier in the week. On Tuesday, Stevens appeared on 88.5 The SportsHub’s Zo & Bertrand to address some overtures of a return to his home state, but quickly denied that he was interested in the job.
Before tonight’s Kings-Celtics game, Stevens again definitely quashed any idea that he was leaving Boston for Bloomington.
