From Wednesday’s fourth quarter against the Philadelphia 76ers on, the Celtics seem to have snapped back into a form deemed acceptable by Brad Stevens.
The Celtics coach confronted his team — he referred to the direct talk as “real conversations” — and still they nearly lost to the team with the longest losing streak in NBA history.
But the C’s turned things around late at the Garden against the 76ers, then came back Friday at home with their second dominant win against the Washington Wizards this season.
So where to now, you might ask. Beginning tonight in Orlando, the Celtics embark on a long, serpentine, five-city road trip that also includes stops in Miami, Mexico City (to play Sacramento), San Antonio and New Orleans.
