Despite still having a top-5 record in the entire association, the going has been tough as of late for the Boston Celtics. After starting off hot post All-Star break (accumulating a record of 3-2, with two of those loses being asterisk deserving) the shamrocks have seemed to stall.
During their past four outings, Boston has managed to drop three of them. All of these loses came against playoff contenders, while their one win was against the bottom-feeding/ shorthanded Cleveland Cavaliers, and even that wound up being too close for comfort (C’s won 112-106).
In their defense, however, during this underwhelming stretch the Boston Celtics were without many key contributors such as Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown and Gordon Hayward due to injury; something the team has seemingly struggled with all season.
