With just under 10 minutes to play, it appeared the Boston Celtics had all but wrapped themselves up an easy victory. Boston led Miami by 21 points at the time, as Brad Stevens began subbing in the bench unit to get his starters some well-earned rest.
Miami had other intentions. The Heat quickly rallied back, pulling within 5 points on a Dion Waiters step back with 4:39 to play. Stevens would redeploy his 4th quarter workhorse in Kyrie Irving, and Mr. 4th Quarter would do his thing in the final minutes to seal the deal for the C’s.
