Coming into the 2019-20 season, youth and uncertainty is a common theme across the Boston Celtics’ projected rotation. With five rookies slated to compete for roster spots, coupled with their average age being well under 25, this should come as no surprise for fans of the organization.
That said, attaining a veteran helping hand is never a bad way to accelerate the timeline of a given roster. A key minimum value addition (think Chris Anderson on the 2013 Miami Heat or even Enes Kanter on the 2019 Portland Trailblazers) can go along way if in the right situation.
