It was announced earlier this week that all 30 teams will be able to convert two-way contracts and sign any eligible free-agents for the remainder of the season, and the Boston Celtics have a few really good G-League players that could provide solid minutes off of the bench.
The Cs have already seen appearances from both Tremont Waters and Tacko Fall, but the team’s G-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws, finished their season as the third-best team in the entire League.
Unfortunately, that squad didn’t have the opportunity to fight for a championship, but now they have the opportunity to join the Celtics and compete for the Larry O’Brien trophy.
