The Boston Celtics are in a phenomenal position this season, and are one of the most stable franchises in the NBA. They have a core of players that knows they have the talent to utterly dominate the East, but that will not take any edge away from them.
The Celtics have always been a team looking to prove people wrong. This season, they will not have the kind of doubters that existed in earlier seasons, but they are still going out there with a lot to prove.
As an overall team, the Celtics really cannot validate anything until they get to the Finals.
