The Boston Celtics have signed Jarell Eddie form the G League to a 10 day contract. This is not the kind of move you need to pay too much attention too, because it is unlikely to materialize into anything. That being said, it is a clear sign that the Celtics want more shooting from their second unit, which has been a major concern at times.
Eddie has actually hit just over 50 percent of his three point attempts in the G League this season, which is quite easy to get excited about. Obviously, this is just in the G League and absolutely nothing done there can be trusted until it translates to the NBA, but if he can bring some pure shooting, then you can expect another contract to come his way.
