Among the many side effects of the NBA’s season suspension and subsequent revenue loss when the season does return without stands in the fans is the toll the pandemic will have on the salary cap. What that means–for the Boston Celtics and the rest of the league–is not yet known.
If the rumor mill is to be believed, there could be significant player movement coming in the forms of trades instead. Even before all of the economic uncertainty, there figured to be change this offseason…particularly in the Atlantic Division.
