We have seen several unthinkable tragedies rock the college basketball world this offseason. The latest–Terrence Clarke’s untimely passing in a Los Angeles car wreck–is one that hurt several Boston Celtics players that knew the Boston product personally.
Clarke’s death comes a few weeks after Grand Canyon University’s Oscar Freyer passed away in a car accident in Northern California. It’s been an extremely difficult offseason for the college basketball family after completing a triumphant season that COVID-19 failed to cancel.
Several Boston Celtics players, present and past, sent out tributes to Clarke, who attended several games at the TD Garden the past several seasons.
