Oshae Brissett, who signed a two-year contract with the Boston Celtics last month, has reportedly suffered a knee injury.
The Toronto Star’s Doug Smith reported Sunday that Brissett will not compete in the FIBA World Cup for Canada, as he works his way back from the ailment.
“Jamal Murray won’t travel to Germany for 3 pre-World Cup games with Canada but hope is he’s ready for games in Spain and the tournament,” Smith wrote. “Veteran Cory Joseph has withdrawn as well as has Kassius Robertson and Oshae Brissett has a knee issue.
