Boston Celtics defeat New York Knicks 113-99

With all eyes on New York in the past 24hrs following the blockbuster trade involving young unicorn Kristaps Porziu0146u0123is and the Dallas Mavericks, the Knicks tried to quickly cobble together a competitive team. As the deal was only completed yesterday, the new players involved in the trade were unavailable for tonight’s game. New York and it’s G-League team started out the game solid with a 13-4 run to start of the game on 83 percent shooting.

Boston started off slow and behind the good play Jayson Tatum, Marcus Morris and Kyrie Irving, the Celtics capitilized on some nice ball movement to go on a 14-2 run and take the lead 17-15 with 5 minutes to go in the quarter.
