People were expecting the Celtics to be an improved team this year, but there are very few who expected them to be this competitive, especially this early on in the season.
The Celtics are right in the thick of an incredibly close eastern conference race. The Celtics currently have the 6th best record in the east and are just 3.5 games out of first place.
