The Boston Celtics are seeing their secondary layers step up in a special way as the injuries are piling up, but the bottom of the bench is still a major problem. They cannot afford to be giving consistent minutes to Abdel Nader and Guerchon Yabusele, so they are going to take a chance on Xavier Silas.
The Celtics have signed the 6’5 guard to a 10 day contract, giving him a chance to provide some much needed depth that has been decimated with these injuries.
You really can never expect a lot to come out of these 10 day contracts.
