In recent days, an interesting development has started to form. It seems as though the idea of Brad Stevens being replaced as the Boston Celtics head coach is an idea that is becoming less taboo by the day.
While the idea originally came about because of Stevens being linked to the Indiana Hoosiers head coaching job, it appears as though the former Butler coach isn’t likely to leave the NBA to go back to the college realm.
ESPN’s NBA guru Adrian Wojnarowski poured water on that idea, even openly questioning–if not downright denying–the idea of a coach at the professional level going back to the collegiate realm in a response tweet to fellow ESPN writer Tim Bontemps’ report on Brad Stevens denying the idea of thinking about leaving the Boston Celtics.
