Even though he had been fighting through it for weeks, after hitting the 58-game threshold, Boston Celtics All-Star Jaylen Brown has elected for surgery on his left wrist. That will cost him the remainder of the 2020-21 regular season as well as the postseason.
Is it over?
Many fans felt it never truly began this season for the Cs considering their struggles against the top teams in the Eastern Conference (minus Milwaukee). Without Brown, it’s going to take heroic efforts from Jayson Tatum and–to a lesser degree–Kemba Walker to make anything out of what’s left this season.
