It has been just under two weeks since the Boston Celtics last took their talents to the Hardwood, but for fans of the franchise — as well as the entire NBA — it’s felt like an eternity. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak making it’s way to the United States and, subsequently the NBA, commissioner Adam Silver made the bold choice to suspend the 2019-20 season “until further notice.”
And while we many not want to admit it, Silver made the right choice.
Originally, it was reported that the suspension would last for “no less than 30 days”, giving fans hope that their favorite sport could come back to action after a month of hiatus.
