Things are different now. A new day has dawned in Beantown. The Boston Celtics are playing together, overcoming the odds…and look happy doing it. There is no misery, no dreariness and no locker-room troubles.
Players aren’t being called out for their efforts. The ball isn’t stopping in the final moments when it is passed to one man.
Ya know what, I’ll just say it: Kyrie Irving is gone and the Boston Celtics are a more watchable and more like-able team.
There. It’s out in the universe. I am not the first to say this and I definitely won’t be the last: Irving’s departure has had nothing but positive effects on the Boston Celtics franchise.
