With the fact that Boston Celtics basketball is a bit over a month from returning to action, we here at the Houdini are absolutely elated.
Prior to the COVID-19 induced hiatus on March 11th, fans of the shamrocks were excited to see their 43-21 Cs suit up for their sixth consecutive playoff appearance — clinched a postseason berth the day prior — and, ultimately, compete for championship banner number 18.
Now, with the NBA making it official that the season will return on July 31st, the excitement continues.
Rolling out a lineup consisting of All-Stars Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum, arguable All-Star Jaylen Brown, former All-Star Gordon Hayward, and Swiss Army man Marcus Smart, it’s been a well-known fact that this Celtics core rivals any other’s in the Eastern Conference and, in turn, could prove to be quite a matchup nightmare come the playoffs.
