Danny Ainge made a gamble last week, and wouldn’t you know, it paid off. Jabari Parker was signed off the free-agent scrap heap to add an extra scoring boost for the Boston Celtics after being released by the Sacramento Kings earlier this season.
Consider the Cs boosted. Parker has poured in 19 points over two games, one of which was a signature primetime Saturday night victory against the Golden State Warriors. The other was an underhanded loss to the Chicago Bulls that saw several players sit out due to varying reasons.
