With the 30th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics selected Baylor Scheierman out of Creighton University. In Summer League play, he impressed fans with not only his shooting, but his passing ability and feel for the game. In his first Media Day, Scheierman revealed more about his game and the work he’s been putting in.
He’s gained twenty pounds of muscle since the start of Summer League in July and when NBC Sports Boston’s Eddie House pointed out his transformation, the rookie replied, “I’ve definitely worked on my body a lot and that’s a big emphasis for me coming into this new league.
