BROOKLYN -- Avery Bradley missed the trip for tonight's game in Brooklyn with a left hip pointer - an injury suffered during Saturday's loss to the Nets in the Garden.
"He was really sore yesterday," said Celtics coach Brad Stevens. "I don’t know what that means for the rest of the week, but when he got hit he got a hip pointer. He said it really swelled up quickly. And it was very uncomfortable yesterday for him to sit, cough (or) move. So just a typical hip pointer – typical bad hip pointer.”
"I don’t know if you’ve ever had one," he said.
