Austin Ainge begins eyeing Celtics' No. 3 draft candidates for workouts

Austin Ainge has a particularly arduous task this year, now that the Celtics not only have eight picks heading into the June 23 NBA Draft, but the No. 3 overall pick. Had the Celtics landed one of the top two picks — almost certainly expected to be split between Duke forward Brandon Ingram and LSU's Ben Simmons — the process would have been much simpler.

But a much broader range of player comes into play for No. 3, with Croatian forward Dragan Bender, Kentucky shooting guard Jamal Murray, Providence point guard Kris Dunn, Oklahoma shooting guard Buddy Hield and California swingman Jaylen Brown all possibilities.
