Warriors coach Steve Kerr ended his press conference with a joke Wednesday evening. He was asked if he addressed his team about the results of Tuesday’s presidential election.
“I just told them in our meeting this morning, let’s make America great again and beat the Celtics,” said Kerr.
Kerr banged the table as he delivered the wisecrack before leaving the room.
He struck a more serious tone with his comments on his personal feelings about the election, saying he accepts the results and hopes President-elect Donald Trump performs well during his time in office.
