Around the NBA: Portland signs Carmelo, Morris with the game winner, and PG13 makes Clippers debut

Last night in the NBA, Paul George made his Clippers debut. Hew finished with 33 points and 9 rebounds, but he thought he played "terrible" when accessing his performance post game. Doc Rivers disagreed, but the Clippers lost to the lowly and undermanned Pelicans, so there's that.

Former Celtic, Marcus Morris, had the game winner to defeat the Mavs in Madison Square Garden. This was Kristaps Porzingis first game back in the Big Apple since the Knicks traded him, so they could have the cap space to sign power forwards Julius Randle, Taj Gibson, and Bobby Portis.

The biggest news came out of Portland where the Blazers are taking a chance on Carmelo Anthony to help fill the void at the forward position.
