Joe Mazzulla was given a tough task this season as the head coach of the Boston Celtics: he had to deal with the pressure of coaching Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown as well as being the favorite to win the title. Although Mazzulla failed to deliver a title, he still had a decent season.
Despite this, I have seen on social media the disconnect between Celtics fans and Mazzulla, and it begs the question: Are Celtics fans not in agreement on whether Mazzulla is the guy?
I ask this question because as I have scrolled through the comments on recent posts regarding the team’s addition of Charles Lee, I have found a clear disconnect with Celtics fans.
