Orlando’s physicality has been a consistent theme throughout this series, but hard fouls weren’t the only way they were able to throw the Celtics off their game in Friday night’s Game 3 at Orlando.
Mixing up the defensive tempo, focusing on stopping key role players, and making Boston’s big men uncomfortable were also big parts of the Magic’s 95-93 victory.
The Celtics’ cold streak from the 3-point line didn’t help matters. Jayson Tatum was able to get to his spots, knocking down four of his 10 3-point attempts. The rest of the team, however, went 5 for 17 from beyond the arc.
