Just last week Hardwood Houdini posted an article about three WNBA players that can help the Boston Celtics. The inspiration for the story were the words of Kobe Bryant. He was championing women’s rights and equality because of his love for his daughter Gianna–a bright young prospect who was set to do great things in her basketball career–and his genuine belief that gender isn’t a factor on whether or not someone can hoop.
As we know, this past Sunday morning, a helicopter crash took Bryant, his daughter, and seven other people away from us. It felt surreal.
