The Celtics went with a shot blocker with the 33rd pick.
After drafting a point guard and a marksman in the first round, the Boston Celtics only filled one of their two needs. However, with their second round pick, they went with a shot blocker in Jordan Mickey.
Mickey will be an undersized power forward in the NBA, but he has a 7'3.5'' wingspan and a whole lot of athleticism. On top of being an elite shot blocker, Mickey is a strong perimeter defender with nice lateral quickness for his size. He isn't much of a scorer, though.
