The NBA Finals are underway, but the Boston Celtics are focused on the offseason. The draft is less than a week away and the Celtics are also preparing the start of free agency on July 1. With the No. 3 overall pick, several other picks and cap space, it's not a surprise there are plenty of rumblings around the Celtics. Here are all the latest Celtics rumors and news you need to know.
Who Is Targeting Jaylen Brown?
The Cal forward had a less-than-ideal season, but is still a lottery pick. The Celtics apparently are doing plenty of digging into Brown.
Boston, Phoenix, and Minnesota are the three teams that have done the most research on Cal's Jaylen Brown, sources told @CBSSports.

In fact, the Celtics might be bringing Brown in for a second workout.
Told it's Boston tomorrow where Jaylen Brown has been summoned. Distinct possibility: Dunn, Murray, Bender, Hield all left at 5. #twolves

Brown reportedly nailed his workout with Boston, and he has the high-level potential the Celtics want. While Jae Crowder is currently at SF, the Celtics could still take Brown. Few have a strong idea of what the Celtics will actually do this year, and the draft really begins with their selection.
Celtics Working Out Prospects
With several second round picks, it's not a surprise that the Celtics are trying to figure out who'll they'll draft. They're brining in several players today for workouts.
Sources: Boston Celtics will bring in Yogi Ferrell (Indiana), Cat Barber (NC State) and Gary Payton II (Oregon State) for a workout Saturday

All three are point guards, but play very different styles. The Celtics have Isaiah Thomas, Marcus Smart and even Terry Rozier, but adding another depth piece is clearly an option.
Kris Dunn Latest
There were reports earlier this offseason that Providence guard Kris Dunn didn't want to play for the Celtics or Suns because they had established, young PGs. However, he told the Boston Globe that's not the case.
"I mean, it would be unbelievable to be selected by the Celtics," Dunn told the Globe. "My dream is just to get drafted, and that I have a chance to be a top-five player, it’s a blessing ... I think that’s just a rumor going around. That never came out of my mouth, that I didn’t want to play for any team."
The Celtics have Thomas and Smart at PG, but Dunn might be the third-best player in the draft. Dunn, Kentucky combo guard Jamal Murray, Brown, Washington PF Marquese Chriss and Croatian forward Dragan Bender are all options.
