The Boston Celtics have been busy.
After agreeing to a deal that would send forward Jeff Green to the Memphis Grizzlies for Tayshaun Prince and a first-round pick, Boston has traded big man Brandan Wright to the Phoenix Suns for another first-round pick.
Boston got Brandon Wright in the trade that sent point guard Rajon Rondo to the Dallas Mavericks on December 19.
The Celtics are now fully committed to a rebuilding effort and have acquired eight-first round picks in the next three years.
Wright is averaging 7.5 points and 3.6 rebounds in 17 minutes a game this season, and should provide a boost to a Suns bench that has needed another big man.
