The Boston Celtics are just in the playoff hunt, but they are in a sticky situation because they do not have a roster that is made to win in the future. Given that future hall of famer Kevin Garnett is not getting any younger, it should be no surprise that trade rumors are starting to circulate as the Thursday deadline looms ever closer.
The most probable trade involving Kevin Garnett would be with the Los Angeles Clippers, in which the Clippers would send DeAndre Jordan and Eric Bledsoe to Boston for KG.
While this would help solve the Celtics lack of youth, the Clippers have to evaluate with Garnett will make them a better team in the next few months and get them over the playoff hump.

Additionally, Garnett has a no trade clause on his contract so if the Celtics even wanted to move him, they would have to convince Garnett to waive this clause.
In all likelihood Garnett will not leave Boston and the Celtics roster will not change very much as they prep for a playoff run. There are just too many variables in the way that are going to bock this trade from happening.
