With the Boston Celtics president of operations Danny Ainge considering to make several changes to carry out some serious work by next season, many are asking if the Boston Celtics will let Fab Melo stay or will they trade him?
Fab Melo is a 23 year old center for the team and drafted as the 22nd pick for the first round as of last year. He played in the Developmental League where he averaged about 9.8 points, with 6 rebounds, and 3.1 blocks. He is on the second year for his rookie contract but right after this season, things can turn out to be not guaranteed anymore.
Many say that Melo is not earning the respect he must have to show that he is developing as a player. When he was first drafted, he only showed improvement right after his season game in Maine. He slowly showed great skills for the basics of offensive games.
As to why others think he should be traded is that Celtics may think he is not emerging as a quality NBA player and can also be a part of a bigger package deal.
