Yesterday, Causeway Crowd discussed potential players that could replace Niklas Svedberg as the new number two goaltender in Boston. With Svedberg playing next year in the KHL, the B’s were going to have to look to Providence to find the right player that could back up Tuukka Rask. Zane McIntyre was suggested as the dark horse candidate, but it’s looking a little more likely that he could surprise us all and get the number two slot.
The Bruins chose Zane McIntyre in the sixth round (165th overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.
